Port Stephens Events Manual – supporting event organisers
Port Stephens Council has produced an Events Manual to assist event organisers in developing quality events.
There are a number of things to consider as an event organiser or event owner, and this manual aims to point you in the right direction for necessary items and processes that you need to follow to aid in the planning, running, and evaluation of your event.
The manual details how to gain the various Council approvals, ranging from booking public venues, arranging road closures and temporary food licences. It also outlines a range of opportunities for Council support, such as funding, promotion and advice.
