National Young Writer’s Festival 2016 Volunteer Callout

Do you love writing, reading, and all kinds of fun? Are you an enthusiastic human? We want you to help NYWF happen!

This year’s NYWF is set to be an amazing maze of panels, readings, debates and special events geared to be the biggest and best boot camp for young writers in Australia. Check out the program online here if you haven’t already! Find out more about the festival on our website.

You don’t need any special skills or experience to volunteer – just enthusiasm and the willingness to lend us your time. The festival runs from the 29th of September to the 2nd of October in Newcastle, so if you’re a local or from further afield, come on down and help us make NYWF as awesome as possible.

You’ll meet some incredible people, get a wicked t-shirt, see a bunch of great events and gain experience into the inner workings of the festival. Previous volunteers have come back as festival artists and staff, so this could be the start of a beautiful, ongoing friendship.

Interested? Flick us an email to volunteers@youngwritersfestival.org with your age, phone number, and a little about yourself including any events you’re particularly keen to help out with.
