GRANTS: Arts NSW

A number of grant opportunities are currently available via Arts NSW.

2015 Visual Arts Fellowship (Emerging) – submission close midnight Monday, 18 May 2015 (AEDT – Sydney time).

A fellowship for visual artists at the beginning of their career to undertake a self-directed program of professional development.

As part of the assessment process, a shortlist of up to twelve artists will be selected to participate in an exhibition to be held at Artspace Visual Arts Centre in Woolloomooloo.

The shortlisted artists will develop their work over an extended installation period with professional curatorial support from Artspace.
Volunteer Initiated Museum Small Grants round one (funded by Arts NSW and managed by Museums & Galleries of NSW)  – submissions close midnight 19 April (AEDT Sydney time).

To assist the short-term, collection-based requirements of community museums and keeping places.
Leg Up Grants (funded by Arts NSW and managed by Museums & Galleries of NSW) – submissions ongoing until funds are expended.

For skill development projects including hosting or attending workshops, conferences, networking activities or seminars in NSW.
Skills Initiative Grants (funded by Arts NSW and managed by Museums & Galleries of NSW) – submissions ongoing until funds are expended.

For volunteer museums, museum networks and keeping places for regional or state-focused development training and networking events.
