RhythmicRhythm2Recovery – Interventions for Working with Young People & Adults facing Social & Emotional Challenges

September 14, 2017 - September 15, 2017

Rhythmic Interventions for Working with Young People & Adults facing Social & Emotional Challenges.  Music reaches beyond words and across cultures.

The Rhythm2Recovery 2-day workshop provides music teachers with a comprehensive resource of fun and practical rhythm based exercises for use in the classroom.

These fun games promote teamwork and social skills and each has a connected metaphor to help young people reflect on how they are working together and other social and emotional themes.

The exercises are fully field tested with even the most challenging youth and are engaging and inclusive allowing all to participate with confidence.

The R2R model is used by counsellors and educators around the world working in diverse fields including trauma, mental health, behavioural education, custodial facilities, child protection and refugee integration.

No previous music skills are required.
