Secret Spaces is the first youth writing prize held by the Hunter Writers Centre. Entries are open from 1 May to 30 July. People aged between 16 to 35 and living in the Hunter are asked to enter a 3 minute phone video presenting a short written piece. Shortlisted entries and prize winners will be presented at the National Young Writers Festival 27 to 30 September 2018 as part of This is Not Art (TiNA), one of Australia’s leading festivals of emerging and experimental arts.

The Hunter Writers Centre will award a cash prize of $500 and other prizes have been donated by Creative Wordshop, Express Media, Harry Hartog and more.
