Community Deaf Arts Forum

Accessible Arts, Octapod and Newcastle Community Art Centre have partnered to present a Community Deaf Arts Forum that will provide the opportunity for members of the Deaf/hard of hearing community to discuss opportunities to engage with the arts community in the Newcastle/Hunter region.

This event is an initiative of Accessible Arts for Deaf and hard of hearing people who are audience members, artists, Auslan Interpreters and Auslan students.

The evening includes a tour of the Newcastle Community Arts Centre with Wendy Peacock, Administrator and the opportunity to meet local curators and arts organisations.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Date: 7 December 2015

Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Where: Newcastle Community Arts Centre, 246 Parry St, Hamilton East

Access: Auslan interpreted event. Wheelchair accessible venue and accessible parking spaces
