TREEVIA &
Photography in the Gardens for Beginners - Workshop
What is Trevia?
An activity borrowed from KEW GARDENS of London – a competition for children (parents too) during Biodiversity Month at the Hunter’s best kept secret, the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens.
The opportunity to ‘get up close and personal’ to nature by using your hands and eyes to feel and observe one of the Gardens’ trees then record your findings.
All entries will be displayed at the Botanic Gardens and a special Treevia walk around the trees at the competition’s end will provide even more interesting details about Australia’s Native Plants.
Each participant will receive a free Australian Native Plant to take home.
