Time & Tide is an exhibition that reflects the influence that living in a coastal environment has had on the artists.

"I grew up as a surfer and have loved the beaches & ocean baths and their surrounds for a long time. After stopping work as a ceramicist I took up photography and the images in this show reflect that love of the coast - the light, particularly stormlight, the various moods of the beach and the people that use the beaches & pools are the themes that I have worked with for this exhibition." “Coming from the central west as a teenager, the beach was like a magnet and I took to the water like ‘the proverbial duck’. These days I tend to paddle in the water and am more aware of the textures, patterns and forms sculpted by the sea. The eroded rocks have been a particular inspiration in this body of ceramic sculptures.” Sue Stewart
