The Gardens’ Spring Fair is a time for the hardworking, enthusiastic, and dedicated Volunteers to showcase the fruits of their labours. There is always something new and beautiful to delight the senses of regular visitors and a wonderful surprise to those unfamiliar with this unique treasure – the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens.
Adding to your experience, Lake Macquarie based entertainers ‘Chikame’ will perform live music from the Rotunda on the Eucalyptus Lawn. The talented duo sings and plays favourites from yesterday to today.
Wander around the Market Stalls for that special purchase. Annual favourites are back with a giant Trash ‘n’ Treasure sale, Plant Stall, and massive Book Stall, Society of Frogs & Reptiles (SOFAR) plus delicacies, arts and crafts, jewellery, farmers produce & much more.
Climb aboard the tractor trail ride to see parts of the Gardens not usually open to visitors, join a guided walking tour or simply stroll around the many Themed Gardens and walking trails on your own.
What a great way to leave the hustle behind for a while and get back to nature!
Kookaburra Café & the Pavilion have:
a wide variety of sandwiches
delicious cakes/slices
Devonshire Teas
specialty coffees/teas
cold drinks
ice creams
Raymond Terrace Lions Club Hot Food Van for tasty hot lunches or
Pack a picnic
