This course provides a hands-on introduction to making timber furniture. Participants will be making a stool with a cushion seat (similar pictured), which they keep at the end of the course. This piece features hardwood timber and both simple and more advanced joinery, with an emphasis on using workshop machinery. In creating this stool participants will be exposed to many common production techniques, laying a good foundation for further and more advanced timber furniture making.
