Join this challenging mountain bike ride on Sunday 26 August 2012 through the world heritage listed forests of Mount Royal National Park, including a fun treasure hunt.
The free 30 km loop ride on quiet public gravel roads starts at Callicoma Hill eco-cabins, 50 km north of Singleton in the Hunter Valley, 2 hours from Newcastle and 3 hours from Sydney.
The treasure hunt involves finding and taking photos of sights of natural and cultural interest along the mountain bike route. The Callicoma Hill Facebook page will show the best photos.
Accommodation and camping are available nearby at Callicoma Hill eco-cabins. There will be a bush BBQ after the ride, so BYO food and drink.
