Building and operating bicycle generators gives participants a tangible and tactile experience of:
- How electricity is made and transferred;
- How to manage loads and explore how inefficiencies can be addressed;
- Assessment of the needs of an off grid system;
- Explore the possibilities of renewable forms of energy and creative applications;
- Understand both DC and AC systems.
After the Workshop an Open Mic Session will also be held, with Young acts using the pedal powered sound systems to perform, free BBQ is also included on the day.
