Frock stars is a behind-the-scenes look at the history, highlights, glamour, controversies and achievements of Australian Fashion Week. The exhibition showcases 15 garments from major Australian designers including Zimmermann’s ‘60s inspired swimwear, exquisite demicouture evening gowns by Toni Maticevski and Michelle Jank, street wear by ksubi and the irreverent Iced VoVo dress by Romance Was Born.
A travelling exhibition developed by the Powerhouse Museum and supported by Visions of Australia, an Australian Government program supporting touring exhibitions.
