Nanshe Gallery Opens Exhibition of painter Bridie Watt. This is a must see Exhition of Bridie's signitature style paintings.

Opening with drinks with the artist and music at 5pm Friday 31st August.

"Bridie Watt has been working as a practising artist for over ten years. Bridie has completed an Honours degree in painting at Newcastle University.  She has exhibited her work in galleries, cafes, markets and even the odd wall.  Bridie’s artwork is an exploration of the natural world her work often features birds, which are a favourite subject of Bridie’s however the birds are often emerging from wonderfully abstract backgrounds that sprout whimsical flowers and dancing leaves.  Bridie’s paintings are either painted on canvas or recycled retro frames. The retro frames lend themselves perfectly to Bridie’s quirky style."
