Judy Henry’s travels to Lake Eyre and the dry parts of Australia have left a profound imprint on her senses. She has captured the unique richness of the land through vibrant, layered, flowing colours and subtle textured papers on canvas.
Helen Tolhurst’s handmade jewelry is the result of exotic travels to Morocco. Her beads are carefully sourced from around the world, some being antique, and are deftly woven and sewn into intricate designs of her own making. Both women surprised each other with the unexpected outcome of how their works share a commonality of light and colour through their experiences.
Join the artists at the official opening on Sunday 16th at 2pm with entertainment of the Djembe Drummers ‘Big Bam Boom’ and a surprise band.
