Newcastle City Council are not able to offer a Newcastle Short+Sweet festival this year as the Council teams (Cultural Development and L!vesites) are not in a position to resource the event on an ongoing basis. It has
had two years of development but has not found a ‘home’ to continue the work in. However, we still
want writers, directors and actors to be aware of other Short+Sweet opportunities.
