Tantrum Theatre is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead the organisation into the next exciting phase of delivering high quality arts programs tailored to Newcastle youth.

The General Manager is a strategic relationship builder who will effectively represent Tantrums interests to our stakeholders and has knowledge of theatre and performing arts practices as well as a commitment to youth theatre and young people.

In addition you will also be able to demonstrate:
•  high level financial, budget and project management experience.
•  strong organisational skills and administrative management experience.
•  a proven ability to work autonomously and as a member of a small creative team.
•  high level written and oral communication skills and proven ability to prepare successful funding submissions.

The position is presently part time @ 21hours per week with a starting salary of $26.50 per hour.
