New Gourmet Food Area, New Art & Design Stalls and Local Musicians
Come and join Newcastle's Handmade Community and celebrate the end of Winter this August 4th at The Olive Tree Market! Spend a day wondering amongst vibrant stalls, meet the makers and take home goods directly from the hands of the people who make them.
Augusts stalls will include: beautiful candles in vintage tea cups & containers by KW Creations, surface designs & homewares by Billie the Kid, vibrant art works by Indigenous Painter Tom Croft, homewares & goodies or kids from Monkie & Bee, handmade Glass Jewelry by Blonde Samurai, printmaking from 4 Leaf Clover and fashion from Roger & Peach. Local artists The Strutt will make a 'guest appearance' with their well known and loved jewelry.
Olive Tree recently debuted a new Gourmet Food Area which has proved incredibly popular. Stalls include: Fresh Produce from Organic Feast, handmade cheese from Hunter Belle Cheese, Spiced Chai from Bon Chai, Herbs, Spices, Oils and Dukkahs from A Taste of the Bush, Olives, Oils & Vinegars from Arolyn Grove, Medicinal Teas from Medicine Tree, Cheeses, breads & goodies from Cheese & Co, home brewed tonic from Little Cossack Keffir, yummy petit cupcakes from The Sweet Boutique and lots more!
Enjoy fantastic local live music in the new chill out area while savoring delicious food from around the world. Augusts entertainment will include cool jazz tunes from Georgie-Rose Kefecek and local womens choir The Callaghan Singers.

The Olive Tree Market is one of Newcastle and The Hunters most unique attractions and the home to over 100 artists & designers. Started in 2008 Olive Tree is known as the dedicated monthly art & design market which showcases the work of professional local artisans. The market is held on the first Saturday.
