L!vesites and Back to Back Theatre presents THE DEMOCRATIC SET which will be in residency at
Newcastle Community Arts Centre from 24-28 July 2012.

Participants will spend 20 minutes with the Back to Back theatre crew in their purpose-built set to explore the ideals of equality and freedom, where contributions are neither restricted nor censored.
 

Embracing this philosophy, Back to Back invites everyone and anyone in Newcastle into their democratic set to perform for 15 seconds to camera. THE DEMOCRATIC SET is open to your personal responses. This could include solos, duets and group performances, using movement, sound, costumes and props of any kind - you choose.

These video portraits will be edited together into a film to be premiered on 28 July 2012.
It is free to participate, and there are s few spaces available, so be quick!
