November 2011 - Events, Editorials and Opportunities
Welcome to November, though it certainly does not feel like the year is slowing down. Culturehunter.org has a been receiving a steady stream of news, events and editorials from members and would like to thank everyone for contributing such a diverse range of cultural content.
Culturehunter.org would like to welcome our newest member, the Hunter Arts Access Network, who have formed to establish greater connections between accessible arts programs providers and workers across the Hunter. And in keeping with this theme, please be sure to drop into the ART COUNTS exhibition opening on 24 Nov.
For all the designers out there, Tantrum Theatre is currently seeking expressions of interest from designers/visual artists to undertake the role of Designer for a new production in 2012 presented in
partnership with Australian Theatre for Young People. Spread the word!
Also, another project close to the heart of culturehunter.org is the beginning of a Magnificent Revolution in Australia. Culturehunter.org's project officer, Greer Allen, has returned from 3 months working with Magnificent Revolution UK on pedal power events, art installations and workshops. Stay tuned for upcoming events and workshops in and around the Hunter Region.
