Culture Port Stephens - January 2012

Welcome to 2012.  Hope everyone is rested after the holidays and looking forward to a creative new year.

Port Stephens had a visit from Mark Reedman, the Regional Arts Development Officer from Arts Upper Hunter back in November.  He presented at the Port Stephens Interagency, and reminded attendees of the many grants and opportunities available.  These include:

  • Country Arts Support Program, grants of up to $3000 (Due Feb 2012)
  • Ongoing roster of grant funding from NSW Arts
  • Regional Arts Fund Grants of up to $20,000 (multi year fund through the Commonwealth)
  • Australia Council have Community Partnership Grants
