August 2011 News, What's On, Editorial & Opportunities

Welcome to the last month of winter.  Despite the cold and rain, lots of interesting things are on the horizon for this month.  Check out the Table of Contents to find the things that interest you.

Aspiring-project-people:  look out for the WESTFEST grant, as submissions for the September school holiday program closes on 17 August 2011. It;s a chance to work on a project with young people in the western suburbs of Newcastle.

Other big news is that the Octapod has moved to 401 Hunter Street.  If you're in Newcastle, drop in a say "hi" to the team, and maybe lend a hand unpacking a few boxes ;)
