Newcastle Theatre Company's (NTC) October production is the Michel Tremblay play, Sisters-in-Law.

Finalists in the local Short + Sweet festival have been decided with The City of Newcastle announcing today the top 10 script entries in its 2010 competition.

Newcastle Theatre Company (NTC) will be staging their first Play in a Day event on September 11. In a single 24 hour period up to six short plays will be written, rehearsed and staged as a world premiere.

This September, Newcastle’s Tantrum Theatre will be taking its most skilled young talent to represent Newcastle in the groundbreaking Peepshow at the 2010 Sydney Fringe Festival.

This show showcases Gloucester’s youth talent.

The Orchestra will perform Mozart’s famous Symphony No. 40, Mars from The Planets by Gustav Holst, The 1st
Movement from Dvorak’s New World Symphony and Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain, made famous by Disney’s Fantasia.

Jazz comes in a range of styles and, from the start, The Dungeon has chosen to feature and support new young bands playing modern originals with a nod to post war classics. Trad and Dixieland simply isn’t our style.
