The Octapod Association is seeking a Business and Funding Development Coordinator for 2012. This is a brand new position that will build business relationships and source funds through a variety of means, including: grants, philanthropy, Foundations & Trusts, sponsorship, donor programs and in-kind sponsorship.

The Backyard Bus is a NEW artist in residence program which provides FREE accommodation and studio space to artists of any discipline, who are committed to creating work with a strong alignment to health, social justice or community development values.
3 residencies of 3 weeks each will be offered in 2013 as part of the pilot phase of this initiative.

Japanese for chit chat, the Pecha Kucha phenomenon started In Japan in 2003 as a way for young designers to succinctly show and talk about their work to each other and the general public. Since then, the format of 20 slides lasting 20 seconds each has been embraced in a range of arts and non-arts settings.
