Newcastle
The predominate city in the Hunter Region, Newcastle acts as the regional hub for the area, with the Port of Newcastle the world’s largest coal export centre. Also home to a flourishing arts scene, the City holds various festivals throughout the year, notably the This Is Not Art Festival, Mattara Festival and the Shootout Film Festival, which attract visitors from around Australia.
