The Hunter Region, located north of Sydney, covers an area of 31,000 km and is one of the fastest growing areas in New South Wales. The area contains the Hunter River and its tributaries, with highland areas to the north and south, which make for a visually stunning backdrop and a perfect location for tourism. As such, the Hunter Region is now the sixth most visited area in Australia, and more than 2.5 million people visit annually.
