Monologue Audition Course
The monologue audition course is a four term program designed for the aspiring actor. The course focuses on contemporary audition practice. Students will develop a repertoire of 20 audition monologues to performance standard by the end of the program and will be prepared for the full range of auditions including cold-reads, set pieces and go-sees. This course focuses primarily on theatre, but will cover auditioning for television and film also. A range of guest tutors from the industry assist in the delivery of this program. The course is over four terms and follows the NSW school term dates. Classes are 2 hours face-to-face each week (outside of school and business hours) and there is an expectation of at least 4 hours research and preparation on top of this commitment.
