The Tilligerry Habitat Public Reserve has inspired local people to create a series of 18 mosaics. Each mosaic reflects the experience of a different site and together make the journey through the landscape. The mosaic Dream Path is on display in the Mezzanine Gallery before being permanently installed on the Tilligarry Habitat Tours and Activity Centre.
From the 26 August until 4 September, the Newcastle University Gallery will be host to Nomadic Strategies, the PhD examination exhibition by Mark Elliot Ranken.

This choir was formed in the late 1990s at the instigation of the late John Bartlett, former Mayor and councillor of Port Stephens council. The choir has a varied repetoire including sacred, jazz, show medleys, and popular songs.
The world’s biggest little play festival, Short + Sweet is coming to Newcastle in 2010 and local writers, directors, actors, set designers, costume designers and production crew are invited to join the fun!
The monologue audition course is a four term program designed for the aspiring actor. The course focuses on contemporary audition practice. Students will develop a repertoire of 20 audition monologues to performance standard by the end of the program and will be prepared for the full range of auditions including cold-reads, set pieces and go-sees.
ACT II is an innovative and fresh approach to acting that supplements student learning in the current schools curriculum and supports students who are new to the craft. This is a very practice-focussed program that will build self-confidence, expression and artistic ability.
