Bird in the Hand are hosting a design challenge for Hunter/Newcastle residents aged 25 or under.  The design challenge for 2010 will be themed ‘Bird in the Hand’ and will see emerging designers and artists creating an image that will be screenprinted onto t-shirts, tote bags and postcards.

For 2010, two open museum mentorships and two open gallery mentorships will be offered. M&G NSW has also compiled a shortlist of suggestions for host venues to assist applicants. The Mentorship Program for museums and galleries is open to paid staff from regional museums and galleries in NSW and is suitable for mid-level or emerging personnel.

Crack Theatre Festival is now accepting submissions  from theatre and performing artists to present performances, workshops, artist and project presentations, demonstrations, panels, forums and OTHER.*
