Unique Voice Specialist in Newcastle workshop: Trish Watts
All singers, whether beginners or professionals, can experience debilitating tension when they sing. The causes for this tension are as individual as the singers themselves. One demonstrated way to achieve release from tension is to find a greater connection between your voice and your body.
Voice Movement Therapy practitioner Trish Watts will conduct a one-day workshop at Adamstown Uniting Church called The Moving Voice on Saturday June 3rd from 10am to 3pm. For singers of all levels, 18 years and over, here’s a chance to build your confidence and experience freedom in your singing voice.
Trish Watts is a singing teacher, a singer and published songwriter with experience in this area. Trish recently returned from 2 years of teaching the releasing power of singing in war-torn Cambodia. Trish trained at the Norma Canner Foundation Training at Martha’s Vineyard in the USA and is registered with the International Association of Voice Movement Therapists (IAMVT).
