The Singleton Festival is a biennial event which celebrates all facets of creative and fines arts and music in the Singleton Community.
In 2015 the Singleton Festival will be running from Friday, 3rd July – Sunday, 26th July 2015.
The 2013 Festival featured more than 55 events across five weeks. The events were hosted by professionals, organisations and community groups and were housed at various locations and sites across the Cessnock LGA, Singleton LGA and Upper Hunter. The events and activities ranged from specialised workshops of 8 people through to major weekend events attracting in excess of 1,000 people per day.
The Singleton Festival, formerly the Singleton Arts Festival, began through the collaboration of The Rotary Club of Singleton on Hunter, Sacred Spaces at the Sisters of Mercy Convent, and Singleton Arts and Music Society (SAMS).
The events success lies in the showcase of cultural, artistic and performing groups through a wide variety of displays, performances and workshops. The festival attracts performers, artist and patrons from Singleton, the broader Hunter Region and from around NSW.
