Maitland Arts: Accessible and Inclusive FREE Forum

Following on from the success of a similar forum in Port Stephens in April, Octapod is presenting a free forum on 9 May that will bring together the arts and disability communities of Maitland to discuss access and inclusion in the arts within the context of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
The day aims to inspire individuals with and without disability and organisations from the arts and disability communities to support inclusive and accessible arts in Maitland.
This is an Auslan interpreted event.
WHEN: Monday 9 May 2016
TIME: 10am-1pm (including light lunch). Registration from 9.30am

- Please write a brief description of your interest/organisation/arts practice in relation to access and inclusion in the arts (No more than 100 words) (This information will be collated and circulated to attendees on the day)

Closing date for Registration: Monday 2 May
ACCESS: Building is wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilets. Reserved accessible car parks are available at the rear of the building in the MRAG car park. There are two designated accessible car spaces, but as the gallery is closed on Monday there will be more car spaces available near to the wheelchair accessible ramp to the Gallery.
