Location
The Singleton Town Band has been running continuously since it was established in 1878.
Originally a brass band it now incorporates woodwind instruments and performs as a modern day concert band.
Our current band members range in age from 10 to ...well let's say "over 65". Three current members joined the band in the 1940's! They rarely miss a rehearsal and are an inspiration because of their commitment and musical abilities.
Our current band director, Peter Knight, has been a member of the band for many years, playing trombone, tuba and euphonium.
Membership fees are currently $30 per year (ceiling of $70 per family) and $5 for social members.
