This new Network is being established early 2011, after resolution of Council in December 2010.
Initial functions of the network:
- Advise Council on the local cultural priorities
- Maintain contact with organisations supported through the Cultural Projects Fund
- Broker local collaboration on community driven projects
This sub-committee to the new Port Stephens Strategic Arts and Culture Committee will involve/invite anyone involved in the cultural life of the area, which includes the following communities:
- Balickera
- Brandy Hill
- Butterwick
- Duns Creek
- Eagleton
- East Seaham
- Ferodale
- Glen Oak
- Heatherbrae
- Hinton
- Karuah
- Nelson Plains
- Osterley
- Raymond Terrace
- Seaham
- Swan Bay
- Tomago
- Twelve Mile Creek
- Wallalong
- Woodville
Getting the new network started
The first forum will be held 17 March, 5:30-8:00pm in the Council Administration Building, 114 Adelaide St Raymond Terrace.
