The Loft

Newcastle, NSW 2300The Loft runs drug and alcohol free arts and cultural activities for young people aged 12-25 years.
The Venue includes:
- Sound studio
- Gig space
- Art room
- Meeting space
- Computer room
- Pool Table
- Drop In and Referal facilities
- Exhibition Space
- Disabled access.
The Venue’s regular programs include:
- School Holiday programs
- Beats and Rhymes (Hip hop and electronica)
- After school computer and internet access
- Indent Committee (all-ages gigs, music and programming advisory group)
- Inzine - MAgazine creationa nd production
- For The Love of Arts
- Ninja Radio
- Youth Council
The Loft also runs/has:
- Outreach programs in schools and community
