Libby Dickeson received the Certificate of Appreciation for her ongoing efforts to get Audio Described Theatre to the area of Newcastle. We are almost there, having held the first information session in April with 23 interested attendees. Libby has been the real torch bearer for this project for the past seven years. Inspired by attending an Audio Described theatre performance in Sydney she decided to see how she could help bring it to Blind and Vision Impaired people in the Hunter. So for her determination, and her diligence to her work in the Talking Newspaper and other community efforts, we were proud to see Libby receive this Certificate.
