Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery Located on the foreshore of Australia’s largest
coastal saltwater lake, the gallery is an exceptional cultural and tourist destination.
Innovative and relevant programming ensures every visit is a visual treat. The gallery is
widely recognised for its relevant community projects, and finely curated exhibitions
featuring nationally significant contemporary artists, many of whom share a link with the
Hunter region. Respectful Indigenous projects are also a strong and important component
