Hunter Arts Network
Hunter Arts Network (HAN) is holding it's first Cruise Market on Saturday 19 January from 9am to 3pm.
The market is coinciding with a big cruise liner coming into Newcastle Harbour.
Original handcrafted goods will be showcased by HAN's finest artists, designers, jewellers & craft people from the Hunter
The visitors to the City of Newcastle can enjoy meeting the artists & designers who have carefully created for cruise market & there will also be demonstrations.
Usually this is the last port of call on the agenda so the passengers are ready to buy all of their last minute gifts or souvenirs & this is an affordable opportunity for the City's visitors.
HAN is reputable for organising the Hunter's premier quarterly artisan & design marketplace, Art Bazaar, which is sponsored by Moray and Agnew Lawyers.
The Cruise Market is being held outside Newcastle Museum, Workshop Way, Newcastle, under the awnings.

Call for stallholders:
Stallholders are required to be HAN members. Membership commences on 1 January & is from $55 for individuals. This also covers your insurance for HAN markets.
As this is HAN’s first Cruise Market this is a trial. Our vision is to hold more Cruise Markets & there will be future stallholder callouts in the coming weeks for those markets.
Stall-holders need to provide all of their own equipment, tables etc. Please note tents are not permitted as this is under the awnings & on pavement. Those who use the tents for support of their works you will need to make other arrangements. Please ensure all equipment is secure for WH&S.
Newcastle Museum & Cruise Hunter are also seeking artists to demonstrate their skills. Please advise if you are interested. This can either be at your stall or another area
Final details on setting down and packing up will be communicated this week
To apply email Donna McKinnis with a short description of yourself & the type of art that you make, photos not required
