Footlice Theatre Company Inc was formed in 1986 at Newcastle University with one premise in mind, that being, to provide anyone with the inertest and ambition to gain practical experience in theatre crafts Over 20 years later we still hold true to this Ideal.

A community non profit organisation we are well known throughout the Newcastle aria performing library tours, museum gigs and adult productions throughout the year.

All works are written by members as we all know how hard it is for a fledgling writer to get their works performed. Footlice is dedicated to being the vehicle for any writers in our community who wish to submit works and become a part of our team.

It’s not all work though as long as members are enjoying themselves they are welcome to float projects under our banner and make use of the many resources available to them.

We are always seeking talent with a standing open invitation (for those of senior high school age or above) to join in.
