The Africa Australia Alliance for Peace and Reconciliation (AAAPR) is a non-profit charitable organisation campaigning for the rights of Africans affected by war.
Our vision:
Love, harmony and dignity for all peoples
Our objectives:
- To partner with existing resettlement services to assist Africans to resettle in Australia and to maintain their sense of cultural identity.
- To provide the means to empower women towards self sufficiency.
- To establish links that support education and accommodation promoting peace and reconciliation in the Great Lakes Regions of Africa.
- To develop African/Australian community networks to assist to create sustainable communities for Africans affected by war.
- To seek and teach peace and reconciliation for Africans affected by war.
