Lake Macquarie Winds is a community band based at Valentine Public School; practice is held on Wednesday nights (during school terms) from 7.30pm until 9.00pm.
The band currently comprises some 35 active members, and we always welcome new members - young,old(er), new to music or experienced. We have a limited capacity to provide instruments on loan if required.

St Pauls College Choir and Organist David Drury, Singleton

St Pauls College Choir from the University of Sydney, with their Director and Organist David Drury will present an afternoon of choral and organ works. The concert will be a finale to a weekend of celebration of the Centenary of All Saints' Anglican Church.
Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Parish Office, or will be available on the day at the door.
The Commons

The Commons is a not for profit people's library, fair trade cafe and arts space. Opened in November 2012, the space is entirely volunteer-run and is a true 'community-owned' venture.
The Commons is founded on the principles of encouraging and enabling creativity, environmental sustainability, skill-sharing and social justice.

Love it or loathe it, look forward to it or block your ears till it’s over, Christmas comes around regardless. In our last show for the year, Club Sandwich will concentrate on the people that can make Christmas joyous or appalling, the bedrock of family bonding or a deep well of embarrassing and hilarious stories once everyone’s recovered.
