Peter SPEIGHT is a Sculptor who works predominately with recycled timber. He exhibits annually at ASW 40 Annie St Wickham in Newcastle, Australia.
He studied Visual Arts at the Univeristy of Newcasle, completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts (honours).

4 SESSIONS for $100 gallery members or $120 for non gallery members If you've always wanted to know how to start to draw the human figure or would like to advance your drawing skills, these classes will cater for both. In these last sessions for the year we will be exploring techniques with colour in various mediums, from coloured pencils to paint or any medium that suits you.

$3 per workshop per person Workshops are starting next week for artists with a disability. Monday 10th October Ceramics workshops with Sandra Lee Brown (12-3pm), Friday 14th October Drawing and Painting with Nicole Chaffey (9.30am-3pm) and Monday 17th October Found and Recycled Objects with Ken O'Regan (12-3pm). At the Blackbox Theatre at the Newcastle Community Art Centre.

Of course, the office at the Pod is bustling now with growing TINA activity. The venues map is on the wall, the phone is running hot, and nearly all our energy is pointing towards TINA from now until the 29th. The TINA festival program is at the printers and will be online tomorrow.
