Ethnic Neighbour Aid Project (ENAP) and Ethnic Respite Day Care Centres
The Ethnic Communities Council sponsors Day Care Centres for Polish, Greek, Italian, Macedonian, Ukrainian and Multicultural groups, for the frail aged and younger disabled through the Home and Community Care programme.

The Institute’s Multicultural Education Unit ensures that all ethnic groups in the community are aware of the educational support services available especially for them.
The predominate city in the Hunter Region, Newcastle acts as the regional hub for the area, with the Port of Newcastle the world’s largest coal export centre. Also home to a flourishing arts scene, the City holds various festivals throughout the year, notably the Mattara Festival and the Shootout Film Festival, which both attract visitors from around Australia.
MRAG has a partnership with the Maitland Central Library in the Look Who's Talking program where writers speak, launch and discuss their books. As well children's events are held in workshops and lessons in the branch libraries.
